Celtic manager Neil Lennon feels his side's upcoming break from league action will benefit his players after their winning start to the season.
Lennon's side will next weekend take part in the Dublin Super Cup.
"I'm happy with that, it buys us a little bit of time and it'll get the majority of the players up to full speed," said Lennon.
"There's a little bit of rustiness but that's totally expected and inevitable at this stage of the season."
The early start to the Scottish Premier League season created a clash with Celtic's pre-arranged involvement in the Dublin tournament and the club were given permission to postpone their league fixture with Dunfermline.
Lennon has been critical of the SPL's start date but was pleased to see his side open their account with victory over Hibernian, which featured goals from Anthony Stokes and Ki Sung-Yueng and a missed penalty by Gary Hooper.
"I'm delighted with that, particularly the second half performance which was more than I expected at this stage of the season," Lennon added.
"We got a bit of luck with the first one, a goalkeeping error, but Anthony showed a good touch and great finish and the second goal was a great finish. We were queuing up to score that one.
"We broke at will at times and could have finished the game more comfortably. We're going to have to buy a penalty taker by the looks of it because if we had have scored that, 3-0 would have been pretty, pretty comfortable.
"It's obviously an area that we need to improve on because we missed too many last year.
"My back four were very, very good. The two centre-halves were excellent together and Kelvin Wilson, for a debut, was very, very good; commanding and showed all the qualities that we thought he had."
