Germany are on the brink of qualifying for the finals of Euro 2012 after beating Azerbaijan 3-1 in Baku to make it seven wins out of seven in Group A.
Mesut Ozil put the visitors ahead with an angled drive then set up Mario Gomez for a tap-in just before half-time.
Azerbaijan, who had hit the bar at 0-0, replied through Murad Huseynov before Andre Schurrle added Germany's third.
Only Turkey, who are 11 points behind Germany but have a game in hand, can catch Joachim Loew's side.
