The Today Show said goodbye to co-anchor Meredith Vieira this morning.
With everybody from co-host Matt Lauer to production assistants wearing custom “We Heart Meredith” t-shirts, there wasn’t a dry eye in Rockefeller Plaza.
Viewers were treated to a two-hour Vieira tribute that included highlight montages galore, sendoffs from Jack Black and Jay Leno, a performance by Carole King and a choreographed lipsynch to a certain Journey classic.
In short, if Vieira had to leave Today, it was perfect.
Don't we all, Matt. Don't we all. You'll be missed, Meredith!
