0803: NEWS - The riots across Britain is the main story of the day and they have already affected sporting fixtures. Tuesday's Carling Cup games at West Ham and Charlton have been called off on police advice. The Football Association are meeting to discuss England's friendly against the Netherlands on Wednesday and the England cricket team have been tweeting about the unrest in Birmingham ahead of Wednesday's third Test against India at Edgbaston.
