Jersey Shore Fist-Pumps Way to Ratings Win

Inconceivable as it would have seemed a few years ago, MTV continues to dominate Thursday nights in the ratings. The reason is simple: Jersey Shore.

The reality show continues to lead all programming on that night among viewers 12-34. It has done so in each of its three weeks on the air this month.

A total of 7.8 million total viewers – up 5 percent from last week - tuned in to watch Deena get bi-curious and Snooki get pissed at The Situation.

Jersey Shore: The Last Supper

AWW YEAH! The Last Supper reenacted here will be far from the last you see of the Jersey Shore stars at the rate they're going, growing more popular by the season.

The episode was one of the 10 most-watched telecasts in the network’s history (trailing six Jersey Shore Season 3 episodes and the Season 4 premiere).

Things should only pick up in the coming weeks as tension between Snook, Ron and Sitch heats up and blows are exchanged. It's gonna be ugly/sweet.

Plus Snook rear-ends a cop.
