2346: FOOTBALL - Midfielder Owen Hargreaves has been offered a return to top-flight football by West Brom, reports the Telegraph. Hargreaves was released by Manchester United after struggling with tendinitis.

2342: FOOTBALL - West Brom boss Roy Hodgson says his Liverpool nightmare would make him think twice about taking the England job when Fabio Capello steps down. "It's going to be a very difficult job for anyone who takes the job," he said. "Because, even...if you maybe are the 'right person', you need to be perceived as the right person.
