Tottenham have confirmed the signing of striker Emmanuel Adebayor on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
Earlier in the week Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp had confirmed the club were in talks with City over a loan move for the 27-year-old forward.
Adebayor fell out with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini last year and spent a spell on loan at Real Madrid.
The former Togo international was in the crowd to watch Spurs take on Hearts in their Europa League qualifier.
